This One of a Kind Sleeper Barrel is one of three barrels available for booking.
Even though all barrels are equally located on the beach front, this area is called the Drift Barrel.
There's just something about Drift that makes you feel closer to the water and as if you could drift away. Driftwood was also used for privacy and decorative elegance. There is a good balance of sun and shade. Our barrels are privately spaced, beachfront locations on Nipigon Bay in Gurney, ON.
This "tiny" 7’ x 14’ barrel has a 2 guest capacity.
Everything you need for a relaxing experience is provided by us. If it's just one night or many, you'll only need yourself, your belongings, food, and beverages.
When you wake up in the morning, look directly out the bubble window at the water. Breakfast can be prepared in your private fully equipped outdoor BBQ kitchen and enjoyed in the private outdoor gazebo livingroom. Rain or shine, this outdoor area with propane fire pit is covered, netted and comfortable for whatever weather may come.
At the beach, you'll find a private fire pit and beach chairs. Drift Barrel offers a 2-hour sauna session at our River Sauna Barrel. You will have private access at the time you book. Showers are not available in the sauna. Instead, a warm water basin is heated while using it, and rinsing buckets are used for cleaning. If you're looking for a quick, cool way to rinse off, the river is the perfect place!
You will have your own changing station and porta potty bathroom by the sleeper barrel. For our guests, we provide towels, toiletries, and eco-friendly soaps.
On your site, there is limited wi-fi access, but there is a shared picnic area with wi-fi access.
