Who are We?

Cypress Sleeper Barrels was created by the Carr sisters - Lisa & Tara—twin sisters living part-time on Vancouver Island, born in Thunder Bay, ON.  Together with family and friends, they developed, designed, and built Cypress Sleeper Barrels in 2022.  Apart from communicating with guests, they also manage Cypress Sleeper Barrels and have many years of experience hosting vacation rentals.

I don't want to leave!

Cypress Sleeper Barrels aims to make every guest leave wanting to stay longer. It is important to leave with the 3 R's, rejuvenated, relaxed, and reconnected when it is time to go.

As you begin your morning, looking out your bubble window at the water, enjoy a sizzling breakfast cooked outside while sipping a steamy morning beverage in the still of the forest.

The perfect day is spent relaxing on the beach, taking in the sun, exploring nearby towns, hiking, or adventuring.

A crackling fire, a sauna, and cooling off in the lake are the perfect ways to reconnect with each other during the evenings.

Sleep with a starry sky above you as you fall asleep at night.

Being a family business, we strive to make every guest feel welcome and valued.

We strive to make your stay a unique and unforgettable camping experience with our many years of experience hosting guests.

Cypress Sleeper Barrels believes in being a place where you can disconnect and reconnect.
