Who are We?
Cypress Sleeper Barrels began as a vision shared by two sisters who believed deeply in the healing power of nature.
Built from the ground up with the help of family and friends, this sanctuary on the shores of Lake Superior was designed to offer something more than a place to stay—it was created to help people reconnect with themselves, their loved ones, and the natural world.
To make it truly unique, we added a twist of imagination with our cedar barrels, handcrafted from One-of-a-Kind Creative Woodcrafting on Vancouver Island, blending the comforts of home with the magic of nature.
This isn’t just camping; it’s a chance to immerse yourself in the elements and experience the restorative power of water, forest, and sky.
Mornings here invite you to wake up to the gentle sounds of the lake and a panoramic view from your cedar barrel’s bubble window.
Spend your days exploring nearby trails, basking in the sun on the beach, or unwinding in a private sauna.
Evenings are for connection—whether it’s sharing stories around a crackling fire or gazing at the stars as the waves lull you to sleep.
When we built Cypress Sleeper Barrels, our intention was clear: to create a place where people could leave feeling different than when they arrived. Relaxed, rejuvenated, and reconnected.
Whether you stay for one night or a week, the healing energy of this place has a way of staying with you long after you leave.
Come and experience what we believe so strongly in because here, it’s more than camping; it’s a chance to come back to yourself.
